If there is any loss of service, please contact us. The internet provider on the island may experience local or island wide interruptions at times, but we will contact them immediately to work on a solution.
The electricity here is 220V European standard. This means that it might be necessary you to bring your own adapter.
The tap water in the Netherlands is world renowned for its high quality and delicious freshness. Tap water is safe to drink and is even better than bottled water. You do not have to buy bottles of water. Save our environment, drink tap water.
There is warm/hot water in the shower.
The Fridge/freezer: You should not need to adjust any settings. If you run into any difficulties (e.g. it's not cooling effectively), please let us know.
The TV is connected to the local cable provider. We have one remote. Its a "smart" TV.
Board games are available, you can find them in the closet. Please do not loose any of the essential parts.
Outside we have a gas grill/bbq. Feel free to use it to prepare your delicious grilled meals.
We appreciate you the grill and utensils afterwards.

Quiet Times
As we all enjoy our tranquility, we appreciate you to join us in keeping Boleros Aruba enjoyable for all, by keeping the volume of any radios and your TV moderate, by keeping your conversations private and by being mindful of others when walking around the property.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed inside. You can smoke outside and use the ashtrays and we appreciate not throwing cigarette butts in the yard.
Caring for the environment
Although some of the kitchen appliances and the AC are inverters and the lights are LED lights, we encourage you to help us conserve the environment and keep our utility bill down, by switching off the lights when not in use, and by turning off the AC or put the temperature some degrees higher, when leaving your "home-away-from-home" for an extended period of time.
Garbage Collection
All garbage must be put in a plastic bag and the bag must be firmly tightened shut, before disposing of this.
A garbage disposal bin, as well as additional garbage bags can be found underneath the kitchen sink. When putting a new bag on the garbage bin please make sure that it is tightened properly to cover the bin.
You can throw garbage bags into the dark green/blue bins outside, which are at your left hand side in front of the house when facing the premises. The bins are emptied every week on Friday morning.
Septic Tank
Your unit is on a septic system that needs to be treated gently in order to function properly.
Please only flush human waste and toilet paper (in small quantities). Do not flush no feminine products, wipes, tissues, or birth control materials.
Let us know
Please let us know right away about any problems you have during your stay. We do our best to keep on top of everything, but sometimes things pop up. With input from our guests, we can keep everything running in tip top shape. If it can be fixed right away it will, if it can’t, we will do everything in our power to get it fixed as quickly possible.
If something isn't working for you, please let us know right away as well. It's the worst feeling for us to find out at the end of your stay that you had an issue that we could have helped with, but we're unaware of.
Feel free to knock on our door or talk to us when you see us to address any issues.
Breakages
We understand that sometimes accidents happen! Should you break anything, please let us know immediately - if it's minor thing, we usually won't charge you for it. If it's a larger issue (e.g. the TV screen!), we would like to agree with you on the replacement cost before you leave, to avoid any issues later. Thank you!
When you leave, please ensure the following simple tasks are done:
take the rubbish out to the bins
make sure all is thrown in a plastic bag which is tighten firmly
ensure the air-conditioning is turned off
turn off all lights
leave the key on the kitchen counter
make sure to just close the door behind you (the maid will arrive soon)
put all used linens, all snorkelling gears washed off of beach sand, on the bathroom floor
